DANVILLE — Christel “Chrissy” (McDonald) Breckler, 38, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

She was born in Coshocton on June 26, 1979, to William E. and Loney McDonald. She was a 1998 graduate of East Knox High School, and flew with her boyfriend on a helicopter for Vista 1 as a data collector. Christel loved vacationing, flowers, fish tanks, music, the Buckeyes and her home on “The Ridge.”

She is survived by her sister, BJ Oyster (Jack) of Millersburg; her niece, Jacolyne Oyster; her nephew, Austin Oyster; her grandmother, Mary Ellen McDonald of Howard; her cousin and caregiver, Michelle McDonald; her boyfriend, Mike Parkhill; lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her fur babies: “Bambi and Thumper.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandfathers, Arnel McFadden and Edward McDonald; grandmother, Cora McFadden; uncles, Eugene and Eldridge; aunts, Olie Batten and Karen Burris; and several other cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Millwood Church of Christ. Gene Lily will officiate. Calling hours will be from 3 p.m. until service time. The Fischer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
