MOUNT VERNON — The planning phase for the transformation of the former Farley and Moore building in downtown Mount Vernon into a state-of-the-art engineering facility is well underway.

The property at 104 S. Main St., historically the JC Penney building, will house Knox Labs maker space, as well as the Mount Vernon Nazarene University engineering department.
