MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon police and Knox County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a 100 block West Gambier Street residence at approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The Mount Vernon Emergency Service Unit made entry to the residence on a no-knock search warrant and took into custody one male subject. A second subject was being questioned Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday August 30, 2017 Knox County Sheriff’s Office detectives, assisted by the Mount Vernon Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit arrested 27 year old Rockey Clark of West Gambier Street in Mount Vernon. The arrest was part of multiple ongoing drug investigations that are being conducted by detectives. Clark is currently being held on a probation violation, with additional charges expected to be filed.
