MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon Nazarene University was recently ranked fourth in the nation by Money Magazine for awarding large merit scholarships. Money Magazine ranked 46 different colleges and universities based on graduation rates, the percentage of undergraduate students who receive merit scholarships, and how much of the overall cost of attendance is covered by these scholarships. Merit scholarships are awarded based on a student’s academic accomplishments.

“It is such an honor for Mount Vernon Nazarene University to be ranked number four in the nation of the Best Colleges for Getting Big Merit Aid,” said James Smith, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing.
