MOUNT VERNON — A fire inspector said Tuesday that electrical violations at the Knox County Fairgrounds he has noted annually are not being addressed.

Terry Davis, fire inspector for the Mount Vernon Fire Department, told the Knox County Commissioners Tuesday he is finding “violations that happen over and over” in his inspections of the fairgrounds. Davis said he has noted that some barns need to install ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), but nothing is being done.
