MOUNT VERNON — The local Baldwin Shrine Club recently raised $6,000 during its annual Tabloid Days fundraiser.

According to Ron Mahring, club secretary, 100 percent of the funds raised in Knox County go directly to Shrine hospitals in Cincinnati, Erie, Pennsylvania and Lexington, Kentucky, for the treatment of local children. There are a total of 22 Shrine hospitals in North America, 20 are in the United States.
