MOUNT VERNON — The Apple Valley Singers are prepared to help guests to their show bring out their inner child. Residents of the Ohio Eastern Star Home and Brookdale Nursing Home recently garnered a sneak peak at the show.

“The focus is ‘Childhood Memories’ and (the songs) go back many decades with a lot of Disney-style music,” Apple Valley Singers member Stew Peckham told the News. “There’s a segment called the ‘Silly Sixties.’ We also have kind of a gospel song in there called ‘Get on Board.’ Then, we wrap up with a couple more-recent Disney medleys with ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘The Lion King.’”
