UTICA — The North Fork Local School board at its meeting Monday learned the district will end the fiscal year on a positive note.
Treasurer Tonya Mickley told the News on Tuesday there is a positive cash balance as the fiscal year comes to a close.
“We continue to try to keep expenses as low as possible,” she said, “while still taking care of what we need to. We will continue to have some capital expenses as we upgrade/maintain facilities, but our revenue at this time exceeds expenditures.”
