DANVILLE — Danville Family Dental made Dumbaugh Insurance’s trip to Danville on Thursday almost as painful as a real trip to the dentist.

Danville smacked two home runs, pounced out 14 hits and rolled to a 16-4 victory over Dumbaugh Insurance in the winner’s bracket semifinals of the Mid-Ohio Village Baseball League’s Major Division tournament.

“We’re pretty solid from top to bottom, hitting wise,” said Danville coach Ben Householder. “We worked hard in the off-season and it paid off. That was big, the way we hit all the way through the lineup.”
