DANVILLE — Danville superintendent Dan Harper on Monday was pleased to inform the school board that the Ohio Department of Transportation is planning to put flashing school zone lights up at the corner of West Rambo and South Market streets. The solar-powered lights will be on during morning and afternoon school start and dismissal times, and should alleviate safety concerns raised when the light was first taken out. Harper said he is hopeful the lights will be installed before the school year starts on Aug. 17.
