DANVILLE — Kokosing Construction just kept pounding away Monday.

In the opening game of the Mid-Ohio Village Baseball League Major League tournament, the construction workers scored in every inning to overwhelm Pizzaburg, 11-6, and advance.

Kokosing Construction scored twice in every inning but the fourth, when it put up a three-spot to secure the victory. The win puts the Fredericktown team in the winner’s bracket semifinals Thursday where they will face Spearman’s Restaurant, a 12-4 winner over Fast Eddy’s.
