CENTERBURG — Multiple churches came together on Wednesday at the USA Days Festival in Centerburg to celebrate the freedoms of living in the USA and also the freedoms that come from dedicating a life to Christ. The event featured local choirs and performers, and the concert was complimented by a short sermon.

The event began at 6 p.m. with a performance of Bach’s Prelude by the concert pianist and virtuoso Marina Myers followed by spiritually inspired and patriotic performances that rang in the summer heat from the Joyful Tones Hand Bell Choir of Centerburg United Methodist Church and a children’s hand bell group from Lock Federated United Methodist Church.
