MOUNT VERNON — An advocacy group seeking an amendment to the Ohio Constitution for victim’s rights visited the Knox County Commissioners Tuesday.

Marsy’s Law for Ohio field director Corey Edwards approached the commissioners for an endorsement of the victim’s rights law. Marsy’s Law proposes a constitutional amendment aimed at strengthening victim’s rights. Edwards said some of these rights, such as victim notification of court hearings, are on the law books but are “not being enforced.”
