MOUNT VERNON — The evolving use of unmanned aerial vehicles, in agriculture was the topic of the monthly Farmer’ Breakfast Tuesday.

Knox County OSU Extension Educator John Barker said everybody calls them drones, of course, but extension educators are told they should use the term “unmanned aerial vehicle” term because “drone” sounds like military hardware.
