UTICA — At Monday’s school board meeting, North Fork superintendent Scott Hartley announced a paradigm shift in the educational process. The new approach represents a shift away from the mere acquisition of facts to the effective application of learned facts. The shift is designed to focus on programs that empower students, increase academic success and provide a clear path toward careers or college after high school.
