DANVILLE — At the Danville-Howard Turkey Festival, enthusiastic and somewhat bashful young artists showed off their turkey themed art at the Little Miss and Mr. Turkey contest for the festival to see. They also were able to show off their turkey knowledge by answering questions about turkeys and turkey meal preparation. At the end of the contest, Johnathon Stephens was crowned Little Mr. Turkey for 2017 with Camden Horn as the runner up, and Emma Paine was crowned Little Miss Turkey with Brooklyn Ashman as the runner up.

Marcia Durbin served as the moderator for the event and Danni McFadden, Deb Ridgway and Whitney Johnson all served as judges. The judges commended the talent of each Little Miss and Mr. Turkey contestant.
