Kevin Remillard, the suspect in the murder of 20-year-old Nick Remillard, is being transported to Knox Community Hospital after turning himself in this afternoon.

MOUNT VERNON — Murder suspect Kevin Remillard has turned himself in.

Knox County Public Defender John Pyle said that Remillard came into his office this afternoon and said he “had a legal problem.” Pyle said Remillard wanted to turn himself in but did not want to speak to the police. Pyle said he walked Remillard to the Mount Vernon Police Department, where Remillard turned himself in.

Kevin Remillard is being held on the murder warrant. Remillard was booked into the county jail after an evaluation at Knox Community Hospital.
