7:51 p.m. MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s office is attempting to locate Kevin Remillard, 48, and Nick Remillard, 20, of Gaskin Avenue in Gambier.

According to Sheriff David Shaffer, officers went to the residence on Sunday afternoon for a welfare check, but were unable to locate either individual.

Kevin is known to ride a bicycle that is also missing. The bicycle is black with a front fender, numerous stickers, and possibly a milk crate strapped on the back.

One of them may be in possession of a handgun, Shaffer said. If seen call 911 or 740-397-3333, ext 1.

“There is an active investigation pending and further information will be released as it becomes available,” Shaffer said.
