MOUNT VERNON — “Small but mighty” is one way to describe the 11 students in Knox Technical Center’s Medical Assistant and Medical Insurance Billing Class of 2017. “Phenomenal” is the adjective used by program coordinator Lou Ann Shultz.

At graduation exercises on Friday, Shultz announced that all of the students had attendance and score of 93 percent or higher, and all obtained a 94.75 percent or higher in their grades.

“I am excited to celebrate with these soon-to-be graduates,” said Knox County Career Center superintendent Kathy Greenich as she welcomed the guests. “Going back to school is a daunting thing, and you have done it successfully. Congratulations.”
