Burning plastic bags filled with fiberglass caused this mess at the Owens-Corning fiberglass plant 350 Pittsburgh Ave., Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters were hosing down the pile to put out the fires. Mount Vernon Fire Chief Chad Christopher said the cause is still under investigation.
