UTICA — The Utica FFA held its annual FFA banquet on Wednesday, April 12 at Utica High School. The banquet was catered by Heritage Catering and desserts were provided by alumni members. There were over 140 members and guests in attendance.

The banquet was held in order to acknowledge students participation in chapter activities. Students were awarded for their scholarship and leadership, participation in fundraisers, and participation in CDEs.
Students who had achieved their greenhand or chapter degree received their degrees and pens. The FFA alumni also gave $500 scholarships to Emily Wesley and Jamie Holtz.

The final event of the night was the initiation of the 2017-2018 officers. The group was able to raise over $1,000 towards the chapter because of the silent auction and donations.
