East Knox suffers heartbreaking loss

NEWARK — The East Knox baseball players were livid. Their head coach Randy Baugher, normally a mild-mannered manager in the dugout, was fit to be tied. The other East Knox coaches had to hold each other back.

The Bulldogs had apparently just tied the game against Newark Catholic in the bottom of the fifth with a sacrifice fly. However, the Green Wave appealed and threw to third. The home plate umpire called the runner out.
