MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon High School Spanish Club and Spanish students were busy recently connecting through different cross-cultural collaborations with Kenyon students and Hispanic elementary students.

On Friday, April 28, Kenyon College students in Gilda Rodriquez’s Introduction to Chicano/a Cultural Studies class and MVHS Spanish students made culminating presentations for The Living Culture: A Cooperative Study of Chicana/o Art program where MVHS students and Kenyon College students studied segments from Chicana artist Judy Baca’s community public art project, The Great Wall of Los Angeles.
