This interpretation of “Bronco Buster” appeared in the flower show at Floral Valley Community Center as Region 7 of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs met for a spring meeting. Crested celosia, philadendron, dried leaves and vine brought Mary Lee Minor, of Bucyrus, a first and “Best of Show.”

HOWARD — The Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Region 7, held its spring meeting inside the Floral Valley Community Center on April 26. About 100 garden club members attended the day-long meeting which began with a 10:30 a.m. speech given by Diana Dailey of Sunbury.

“(Dailey) talked about art in the garden and she showed pictures of artwork in her garden (made from) things that she had gathered from flea markets, like chairs and tables,” Jo Ann Graham told the News. “She had … different things that she made into pieces of art and put into her garden.”
