MARENGO — Larry L. Rogers, 69, of Marengo, died late Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2017, at his home.

He was born Oct. 29, 1947, in Mount Vernon, the son of Homer and Genevieve (VanSickle) Rogers.

He was a graduate of Highland High School in the class of 1965 and worked as an auto mechanic. He lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, before returning to Marengo 20 years ago.

Larry enjoyed cars and sci-fi.

He is survived by his mother, Genevieve of Marengo; sisters, Debra Kleinhenn and her husband, Dennis, of Cincinnati, and Sharon Copley and her husband, Jeff, of Marengo; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer and his brother, Jim F. Rogers.

The family will observe a private service at a later date.
