FREDERICKTOWN — This time of year, amidst the rolling green hills and valleys of Fredericktown, countless sheep, horses, cattle and pigs speckle the green acres of The Fox Hollow Farm, 20060 Gilmore Road. Jesse Rickard and his fiancee, Chelsea Gandy, have been working hard making sure the farm is in tip-top shape for the upcoming seasons.
Gandy, a native Hawaiian, moved to the continental U.S. with her family at the age of 12. She met Rickard while attending college in North Carolina. After graduation, the couple moved to the Fox Hollow Farm to live and work with Jesse’s parents, the current owners of the farm.
As second generation farmers on the property, Rickard and Gandy are enjoying all of the responsibilities that come with full-time farm life.
