MOUNT VERNON — Knox Community Hospital’s heart care is something to be proud of, Dr. Barry George told members of the Knox Township Association.

George, a cardiologist at KCH, spoke about the hospital and, more specifically, heart care, during the KTA’s quarterly meeting at the Memorial Building on Tuesday.

Fred Main/News Dr. Barry George, cardiologist at Knox Community Hospital, speaks to members of the Knox Township Association during their quarterly meeting Tuesday at the Memorial Building.“In this community, which is relatively rural, KCH rivals any hospital in Ohio. We’ve worked very hard over the last decade or so to improve heart attack care. I like to think we’ve got it going on here,” George said.
