UTICA — Monthly art sessions in Judy Miller’s class at Utica Junior High School are eagerly anticipated, and not just by her students.

Artist-in-residence Vicki Moon Spiegel, a professional artist with a degree from Columbus College of Art and Design, said she enjoys the sessions as much as Miller’s students and the student helpers from other classes do.

“I like coming every month,” she added. “I have fun looking for inspiration and dreaming up things they would like to try.”
