MOUNT VERNON — Main Street Mount Vernon and local businesses continue to partner with one another to host this winter’s Second Saturday events. This month’s Second Saturday is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, with the theme “Chocolate Walk.” Participating businesses will offer a chocolate-themed treat for patrons.

During their regular open hours, downtown businesses will feature a variety of activities including special discounts, children’s activities, food samplings and more!

Second Saturdays are a great time to come out and explore what our downtown has to offer. In addition to featuring a variety of local food, handmade goods, bakery items, art and more, Mount Vernon’s central business district is also a national historic district. MSMV encourages shoppers to consider the impact of their shopping dollars.
Additional Second Saturdays will be held on March 11 and April 8. For more information, visit www.mainstreetmountvernon.com or call 740-393-1481.
