MOUNT VERNON — Tuesday night’s rain and high winds produced black ice and icy roads this morning as temperatures dropped. The icy conditions delayed the start of schools across Knox County.
Fredericktown schools were on a two-hour delay today because of a power outage, according to a message sent to parents. Trees blown down on Danville-Amity Road knocked power out to residents in the village, a spokesperson for AEP Ohio told the News.
