DANVILLE — It was a win that the Danville Blue Devils will only have a little time to savor.
For the Crestline Bulldogs, it was a loss that they probably wish they could forget.
Led by a strong defense, Danville held the Bulldogs to a single point until late in the first half. The Blue Devils led by as much as 46 points en route to a 63-19 victory in Mid-Buckeye Conference basketball.
Lauren Mickley (13 points) and teammate Cece Newbold (nine points) led Danville with seven rebounds each, spearheading a defense that left the Bulldogs without a field goal until there was only 2:30 left in the first half.
