DANVILLE — The village of Danville looks like it will be calling on an expert.

The village has discussed reconfiguring the municipal building for some time, but at Monday’s council meeting, Mayor Bob Dile said he plans to contact an architect and get an overview of the project.

There have been plans to update and expand the police department’s office, and several ideas have been discussed as to how to best fit the police, other village officials and the library in the building.
