GAMBIER — Christine Tuck of Gambier found out Wednesday that the Publishing Clearing House Prize Patrol is not just a marketing ploy — Prize Patrol executive director Dave Sayer, “patrolman” Howie Guja and videographer Kelly Marchal of Merlin Productions surprised Tuck with a check for $15,000.

“You just don’t know what this means,” a beaming Tuck exclaimed. “I think I’m a little in shock. I am so excited. This is going to be helpful.”
