MOUNT VERNON — Amy Michelle Crumm, 41, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born Nov. 17, 1975, in Mount Vernon. Amy was employed by the Goodwill store of Mount Vernon where she was awarded Employee of Month a multitude of times.

Amy was a Girl Scout and participant in the Special Olympics. To those that knew her, she was the sunshine and a ray of hope. Amy loved a good party and was never short on words to those in attendance. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Amy was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon and always attended the Thursday night bible study at her residence.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Robert Eric and Mary Crumm; and special friends, Deborah Smithhisler, LeAnne Snyder and Leah Magabe.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Karen (Naylor) Crumm; paternal grandparents, Robert Earl and Ruth (Bonner) Crumm; maternal grandparents, Ken and Ramona (Styers) Naylor; and special friend, Kelly Borror.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brian Harroff will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 400 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
