Steven Lloyd Sheasby

Steven Lloyd Sheasby, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 15, 2016. He was born May 25, 1955, at Mercy Hospital in Mount Vernon, to Lloyd and Doris Sheasby. Steve was an excellent student, winning the Knox County eighth grade spelling bee, was honored to be one of the Danville all-stars, and was chosen by the faculty members for Who’s Who among high school seniors.

Baker’s IGA decided to donate boxes of food to the Knox County Veterans Service Office to distribute to area veterans in Knox County. Eight boxes of food for eight families were prepared consisting of ham, potatoes, fruit, bread, vegetables, eggs, milk and juice. The donations came from Baker’s IGA as well as employees and customers. Lackey joins Utica council

Chris Lackey was sworn in as the newest member of Utica Village Council at the monthly meeting of council Monday evening. Lackey, who grew up in the Utica area and has lived in the village for 16 years, fills the void left by John Stone who resigned. Lackey took his oath while being sworn in by Utica Mayor Lester Grennell.
