FREDERICKTOWN — The Danville Blue Devils kept pulling away. The Fredericktown Freddies kept coming back.

Eventually, time ran out on the Freddies.

Despite twice building a lead of 10 or more points on Tuesday, Danville had to hold on for dear life as Fredericktown tied the game late. A pair of free throws by Trey Fritz with 11 seconds remaining finally put the Blue Devils over the top for good in their 58-56 nonconference victory.
