MOUNT VERNON — Glen J. Barb, 78, of Mount Vernon, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.

Glen was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Elkins, W.Va., and has lived in Mount Vernon for several years.

Glen was a veteran of the United States Army, and had been employed at Midland Steel Company in Cleveland. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 781 in Cleveland and the Valley of Cleveland Consistory.

Surviving are his wife, Clara (Weaver) Barb; son, Willy; and daughters, Barbie, Nancy, and Brenda.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m., at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
