The Mount Vernon Baldwin Shrine Club received a check for $1,000 that goes to Shriners hospitals for care of children with injuries and illnesses, at their annual meeting Wednesday evening. Presenting the check is Priscilla Cunningham, 2nd vice-president of the Ladies Auxiliary of AmVets. Accepting was Galen Neibarger, 2017 president for the Shriners. This is the 11th year AmVets had made the contribution, totaling over $14,000. Cunningham has a personal involvement with the Shrine hospitals, a grandson was cared for after being burned with gasoline over much of his body. Request this photo
