MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Career Center school board on Thursday congratulated principal John Feltman for receiving the 2016 Steven Zelkowitz Award for his hard work with the Food for the Hungry drive. The board also commended student council advisors Ashley Klingelhoefer and Corey Kline, who led this year’s student FFH drive.

Treasurer Tracy Elliott said Central Ohio Technical College president Bonnie Coe was at the career center on Wednesday to present the students with an award to recognize the school as “Community Champions” in the drive.
