Virgil Shipley/News An October Toy Ride raised $13,009 for the Fraternal Order of Police, as well as toys. The ride, a memorial to fallen Danville Police Officer Thomas Cottrell, included 87 motorcycle riders and travelled to Newark, where a service for Cottrell was held.
