CENTERBURG — Community support for the children of the district was evident Monday at the Centerburg school board meeting.

Treasurer Ellen Scott told the News on Tuesday the board gratefully accepted the following donations from the Centerburg Old Time Farming Festival: $200 to the district fund; $200 to the Centerburg High School band; and $200 to the art department. It also accepted $3,000 from the Centerburg Elementary PTO for the Books For Fun program.

Scott said the rest of the meeting was “short and sweet” as the board approved the November financial report and heard a presentation about security cameras from Erick Wickham.
