MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Head Start invites you to a Healthy Relationships seminar Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 6-8 p.m., at New Hope Early Education Center, 11700 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon. Provided with funding from the United Way of Knox County, the event is free to participants and open to the public.

Do you have a relationship challenge or simply wish to improve your relationships? If so, this seminar is for you.
In today’s busy world, we often neglect our most important relationship with our spouse, partner, friends, parents, adult siblings and/or co-workers. Join Certified Conscious Discipline Instructor Renee Sutherland, LISW-S, in a fun-filled, interactive workshop designed to improve communication and build a healthy relationship. You will learn how to more effectively deal with emotionally charged situations as you gain an understanding of how the brain processes emotions and learn how to better understand yourself and the people in your life.

Dinner and child care are provided during the training. Bring your spouse, friend, parent, adult sibling or co-worker with you to the training. Each attendee will receive a gift card. Transportation is available if needed and should be requested at the time of registration. Registration is limited and pre-registration is required for meal and child care count. Call Knox County Head Start at 740-393-6985.
