FREDERICKTOWN — Area residents turned out in droves Saturday for the annual family-friendly Fredericktown Christmas Walk. A Nativity scene, holiday music, ice sculptures, and more welcomed guests to the village’s downtown area, and there were smiles and cordial greetings everywhere you went.

The younger set enjoyed Sophia’s Petting Zoo, making their very own tree ornaments at the Baptist Church, and roasting marshmallows in “Bethlehem” outside on the lawn. And, of course, the children took advantage of the opportunity to meet with Santa at First-Knox National Bank.
