MOUNT VERNON — Nacole Ann Workman, 41, of Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Knox Community Hospital after her 22 year battle with M.S. She was born Aug. 10, 1975, in Mount Vernon, to Thomas Workman and Connie (Skeen) Workman.

Nacole graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1993 and studied Christian Ministries and Nursing at Malone University. She also earned a degree from North Central State College in Paralegal Studies. Nacole was a devote Christian and ministered to all she met. She enjoyed southern gospel, playing the violin, reading books and crocheting.

Nacole is survived by her mother, Connie Workman; sister, Emily Workman; brother, Eric Workman; nieces and nephews, Alex Price, Caitlin and Kylie Workman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Workman and her grandparents.

A celebration of life service will take place on Friday, Dec. 30, from 6-9 p.m., at Leonard and Shelley Armstrong residence.
