MOUNT VERNON — The annual Lighting of the Memory Tree will be held Monday, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Hospice of Knox County (HKC).

Participants honor loved ones with ornaments which adorn the Memory Tree. After a balloon launch, groups celebrate the season with traditional caroling at local nursing facilities and homes, then return to HKC for a soup supper. The event is free and open to the public.

Hospice of Knox County is located in Mount Vernon at 17700 Coshocton Road.

For questions and to order an ornament for the Memory Tree, contact Kathy Wantland, Bereavement Coordinator, at 740-397-5188 or visit www.hospiceofknox.org.
