MOUNT VERNON — Nancy Lynn Jones, 60, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on September 8, 1956, in Wichita, Kan., to Lewis Jones and Shirley Mae (Smith) Tucker. Nancy attended the Licking County Starlight School and was employed at New Hope Industries. She was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church.

She is survived by her mother Shirley Mae Tucker; her stepmother Patricia Jones; her brother Brian (Jeanette) Jones; her sisters Jennifer (Tim) Houck, Penny (David) Correno; her stepbrother David (Carolyn) McCoy; three stepsisters, Mary Jane (Tom) Hasenzahl, Carole Miller, and Linda (Glen) Story; her special friend Russell Seitter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father Lewis Jones and her brother John Jones.

Friends may call on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m., at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will follow beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
