MOUNT VERNON — The extension of a bipartisan transportation bill to support construction projects for Ohio’s roads and bridges was the subject of a telephone press conference Wednesday afternoon with U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio.

Brown stressed the need for Congress to pass a long-term bipartisan transportation bill, saying that numerous construction projects would be delayed and thousands of construction jobs would be at risk unless the bill is authorized.
