MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon City Schools, Mount Vernon City Council and the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County teamed up on Wednesday to host a spring luncheon for area senior citizens. Approximately 150 seniors turned out for the event, which was held at Mount Vernon High School.
