MOUNT VERNON — It could not have been a more perfect ending to the regular season for the Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets.

The volleyball team (20-2) celebrated Senior Night by sweeping the visiting Olentangy Braves, 25-15, 25-14, 25-17. With the sweep, the Jackets won every set they played against an Ohio Capital Conference opponent this season. For Mount Vernon’s four seniors — Joe Crescimanno, Sage Whisner, Alex Robinson and Matt McManaway — it is the result of the hard work that they and their teammates have put in.
