MOUNT VERNON — Probate and Juvenile judge James Ronk went to the Knox County commissioners Thursday in an attempt to get some action on repairing the Juvenile Probation building at 105 E. Chestnut St.

Ronk started by telling the commissioners he had some good news: He was able to get a security survey of the Probation building done free by the Ohio Supreme Court because the building is considered to be part of the court operation. There is even an emergency courtroom in the building.
